Retexturing Support
I love how the looks of Crevis feels, and so do many other forumers on here. I got an idea:
When the game's Engine is done (So that it's out of the way) Crevis can have a retexturing support. Similar to how other Indies have this feature for Fans to retexture the game Blocks Items and even Creatures to there liking.
(seriously? 'retexture' isn't a word?)
I had a general idea for a look (Like a Tron style outlined version of Crevis)
Any thoughts?

Hmm... this may be possible. I don't know if GM:Studio can import an external image and then load it into the game. And, also, there are going to be a TON of things in the game. As in, a couple hundred items & blocks. So say we have about 400 blocks: you'd have to retexture the icon in the inventory as well as the block, so that's a total of 800 retextures. Of course you could just decide not to texture a few but all the same... I'll look into it.

Re: Retexturing Support
So, right after you asked I did a quick Google search and found that it's possible. Pretty easily as well. Although, I'm going to need to put a script into every single individual block/icon that checks & loads their corresponding texture in the folder. So, might take a while. xD

The resolutions of the images of the game can't change, though.

Oh ok. No HD textures
Just the amount of 400+ texture in the game...wow!
Still cool though!

Re: Retexturing Support
Now that I thought about it, how would it load the textures?
1)Will it load it like each block as an individual image file?
2)Will it load it as an block 'sheet' with all blocks on the same sheet?
I like number one tho, makes more room for animating tiles

Individual owing to the fact that sprites aren't all the same size and making a sheet would raise complications within these rogue image sizes.
